The most underrated hair tool - the brush. It could be possible that your hair problems are due to using the wrong brush for your hair type. We've put together a little guide for all different types of manes...
It breaks our hearts to know that so many girls still brush their wet hair with the wrong brush! Make sure to use a wide toothed comb, Tangle Teezer or a Wet Brush on wet hair.
Fine hair cannot handle as much heat as thick hair so it's important to use a soft bristle brush to blow dry rather than a metal brush. Metal brushes get too hot and can break the hair strands. The Mason Pearson brushes are great for every day too.
LONG THICK HAIR
Long, thick hair looks beautiful but can take a long time to dry and style. Roughly dry your hair with your fingers and once damp use a paddle brush to hold lots of hair at a time. Finish with a round bristle brush for extra shine.
Ceramic brushes are the way to go if you want to blow dry your curly hair. These ceramic brushes will smooth the cuticle layer of the hair, preventing frizz and flyaways.
Similar to fine hair, using a brush that gets too hot can break the damaged hair leaving you with fried ends. Try using a soft bristle brush and a lot of conditioning products to make the process easier!
VOLUME + TEASING
For the girls that love big hair - use a large barrel brush to blow dry and add in some rollers for longer lasting volume. We love using this thin bristle brush to tease for big hairstyles.
